Aimée Walsh is a writer from Belfast, who splits her time between there and East London. Her writing has appeared inExtra Teeth, Refinery29, The Skinny, RTÉ and Journal of Gender Studies. In Spring 2022, she was a participant in the Faber Academy short story workshop ran by Lucy Caldwell. In 2021, she was the recipient of the Arts Council of Northern Ireland Emerging Writers Bursary in conjunction with the Irish Writers’ Centre.
She holds a PhD from Liverpool John Moores University in Irish Literature and Cultural History, with a focus on female writers from the north of Ireland.
Her debut novel, EXILE, is forthcoming with John Murray next year.
