Nick Spencer

Nick Spencer is Senior Fellow at Theos, the UK’s leading think tank on religion and public life. He is a Fellow of the International Society for Science and Religion, the society for the leading scholars of science and religion worldwide. He is also a Visiting Research Fellow at the Faiths and Civil Society Unit, Goldsmiths, University of London.
 
In June 2019, he presented a three-part Radio 4 series, The Secret History of Science and Religion, which has been followed by a ten-part podcast series of the same title. 
 
Nick has written a number of books including Atheists - the Origin of the Species (Bloomsbury, 2014), The Political Samaritan (Bloomsbury, 2017) and The Mighty and the Almighty (Biteback, 2017). He is currently writing The Nature of the Beast: a People’s History of Science and Religion for Oneworld.
